Privacy policy

Fesera Rounds (“Rounds”, “we”) is a daily clinical reasoning game by Fesera. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Rounds app, the web app at app.feseraround.com and this website, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, or the basic profile Google or Apple shares when you sign in with them (name, email and an account identifier). We never see your Google or Apple password.
- Profile: your username, picture, profession and, if you choose, your country, state or region, university, and year of study or years of experience.
- How you found us (optional): if you tell us how you heard about Rounds, we save your answer, and the tracked link you arrived by, so we know which channels work. You can skip the question.
- Gameplay: the rounds you play, the clues and answers you choose, scores, timings, streaks and the players you follow.
- Device information: app version, platform, time zone and, if you turn on reminders, a push notification token.
- Messages you send us: feedback, case reports, and sponsor, school or donation enquiries.
- Purchases: if in-app purchases are offered, Apple or Google handles payment. We receive confirmation of what you bought, never your card details.
How we use it
- To run the game: your account, daily rounds, scores, streaks and leaderboards.
- To keep competition fair, including detecting cheating or automated play.
- To send the emails you need, such as sign-in codes, and reminders you turn on.
- To improve cases and the app, using gameplay data in aggregate.
- To reply when you contact us.
We rely on providing the service you asked for, our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and improving it, and your consent where it is needed, for example for notifications and personalised ads.
What other players see
Leaderboards show your username, picture, country and score. Your email is never shown. You can hide yourself from public leaderboards in Settings.
Advertising
The apps may show ads through Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, we ask before showing personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time. Ads never affect your score or the daily round.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We use trusted providers to run Rounds, and they process data only on our instructions: hosting and database (Supabase, Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), sign-in (Google, Apple) and, if enabled, ads and payments (Google, Apple). Some providers are based outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account while it is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and sign-in details. Scores already counted may remain in leaderboard totals without your name attached. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile or delete your account in Settings at any time, or ask for deletion at feseraround.com/delete-account if you can’t open the app. Depending on where you live, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@feseraround.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
Rounds is for students and professionals aged 16 or over. If you believe a younger child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted. No system is perfect, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you.
Changes
If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
